LORRAINE P. BENDER
Lorraine recently joined Bermultinational Limited as Program Director where she heads the non-profit practice area providing consulting expertise in the areas of funds development, grant writing, social entrepreneurship, and organizational enhancement.
Lorraine has extensive multicultural experience in non-profit administration, fund-raising and development, program planning and coordination and writing. Prior to joining the firm, Lorraine worked at the Bucks County Housing Group, Inc. for nine years serving first as a volunteer coordinator and then as Development Coordinator. As a member of the administrative team, she coordinated a wide-range of public relations, development and fundraising activities in support of the agency’s goal to serve homeless and low-income families by providing affordable housing and related social services.
Lorraine’s key accomplishments at the Housing Group include a primary role in successfully securing nearly one million dollars in corporate, foundation, and government funding for a variety of special projects through focused grant writing and proposal preparation. Lorraine also designed, developed and executed all aspects of major fundraising and publicity events.
Before joining the Bucks County Housing Group, Lorraine served as the Special Assistant to the Executive Vice-President of the United States Committee for UNICEF where she coordinated volunteer development, administrative and program services and monitored field operations budgets.
Lorraine is a cum laude graduate of the College of Holy Cross with a B.A. degree in French.
