STIRLING S.R. PHILLIPS
Stirling serves as President and CEO of Bermultinational Limited. Stirling’s leadership philosophy and professional experience are reflected in Bermultinational’s vision: combining strategy and technology with global partnering to enhance human potential.
Stirling’s consulting practice areas at Bermultinational are focused on appreciative inquiry, mediation, conflict utilization, dispute resolution, diversity as a value and inclusion, supplier diversity, employee relations and mentor program design.
Stirling returned to Bermultinational in 2006 after a fifteen-year career with the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC). During his tenure with the FDIC, Stirling worked in various program areas including real estate, commercial and contract administration. He advised management on personnel, labor, and leasing and employment matters and represented the agency in administrative hearings. His last FDIC assignment was the position of Corporate Affairs Counsel for the Memphis Region over a six year period.
Stirling served for two years as chairman of the Dallas Equal Employment Opportunity Advisory Committee and was awarded a Dallas/Fort Worth area Federal Executive Board award for his work in promoting equal opportunities for all FDIC employees. He also served as the chairman of the FDIC’s National Mentoring Task Force and as a program manager to the Diversity Steering Committee, where he assisted in drafting the FDIC’s first strategic corporate diversity plan.
Stirling is a Gabriel Institute Certified Assessment Needs Analyst in Role Based Assessment. He is also a member of the Maryland Program for Mediator Excellence (MPME) Stirling volunteers at the Conflict Resolution Center for Montgomery County.
Stirling received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Columbia University and his law degree from the George Washington University National Law Center.
