STIRLING S.R. PHILLIPS
Stirling recently returned to Bermultinational as Vice President and General Counsel after a fifteen-year career with the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC). During his tenure with the FDIC, Stirling worked in various program areas including real estate, commercial and contract administration. He advised management on personnel, labor, and leasing and employment matters and represented the agency in administrative hearings. He most recently served six years as Corporate Affairs Counsel for the Memphis Region.
Stirling’s consulting practice area at Bermultinational is focused on diversity management and employee relations with an emphasis on diversity and inclusion, mentor programs and supplier diversity.
Stirling served for two years as chairman of the Dallas Equal Employment Opportunity Advisory Committee and was awarded a Dallas/Fort Worth area Federal Executive Board award for his work in promoting equal opportunities for all FDIC employees. He also served as the chairman of the FDIC’s National Mentoring Task Force and as a program manager to the Diversity Steering Committee, where he assisted in drafting the FDIC’s first strategic corporate diversity plan.
Stirling received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Columbia University and his law degree from the George Washington University National Law Center.
